Bobcat is a sub-species of Lynx (Lynx rufus). So it’s “Lynx vs Lynx”.
I also think they’re playing.
Lynx has the really pointy ears with the mutton chops.

They’re obviuosly not the sounds of these two animals. Just some jerks grumbling in a studio somewhere, and then the sound recording is slowed down, to make it sound “ominous”….oooh….scary
I don’t think the Lynx was fighting as ‘hard’ as it could have either…it seemed more like a test of wills.
The Lynx seemed happy *not* to fight, before AND after the eh, altercation. Though I’m sure the Lynx is no pushover if it really came to it, Bob is definitely more fiery alright!!
Having seen this, it’s interesting that they can also occasionally mate with each other in the wild.

Yeah the lynx definitely submitted.
Having said that, for anyone who’s an avid lynx lover over the bobcat, there is no shame or disgrace in it. It’s just nature.
People who get carried away on “My animal won that one”, like all the eagles preying on wolves assholes, and “Tigers Vs Lions Vs Bears shite” jerks, they just REALLY need to get a life themselves.
These things happen in nature all the time, with different outcomes & it has NOTHING at all 2do with us.
@dakunna I had to look at it myself, the lynx is the one with the larger paws whereas the bobcat has the smaller ones, if that is any help.

@dakunna you can hardly tell in this video cuz the snow but a lynx is a little bigger with a shorter tail than a bobcat and they look like they have clown shoes. The bigger feet help them walk on top the snow which allows them to live further north than bobcats.

This was a territorial type of fight. It is not meant to kill, only to establish territoriy and or dominance. Leave my rabbits alone, they’re mine. Grrrrrrr
I dont think they were trying to kill each other… they weren’t even using their mouthes. When the animal was pinned, the other cat was just looking around instead of trying to bite its throat… >__>
