Wicked Stump Grapple Vs. Two Headed Monster Stump
Great Demo Video of the Wicked Stump Grapple from Construction Attachments. Picture in Picture with the Chief Engineer giving features information, while Ted from Everything Attachments and Guest Operator Micheal Smith whoop up on some LARGE STUMPS!

@EverythingAttachment stumps go easier with the tree still on top of them… once the weight of the tree crown starts to offset, it will help you break the roots. Then all you have to do with this stump cutting bucket is cut the last few, which are already weakened or under stress, which makes it easy to fracture them.
@EverythingAttachment – remember that if you don’t get the total stump removed from the ground that there will be a low spot in your yard for many years.
@caseman2294 – If you are going to be concerned about tearing grass.then the stump grinder is definately the answer, but it costs a considerable amount more . . . some stump grinders cost 20,000 dollars plus. We do offer these as well on our site. This is best suited for stump removal in clearing land and such. . .
@RenzeZielman – No I would not recommend this for strictly a stump removal business. If stump removal is all that you do, and can afford a large excavator, by all means. This attachment works great for those out there that do a little bit of everything with your skid steer, including some stump removal. The monster stump was maybe a little overkill, but I wanted to show off what you COULD do if the situation presented itself . . .
@EverythingAttachment You put that very correct.. …After you have had to replace your skidsteer… Skidsteers wont last long when taking out stumps of this size day in day out…
Now when you need a big stump to go, once every couple of months, this would save you hiring someone with big equipment. But to do this everyday, get the excavator.
Wouldn’t it be easier to use a stump grinder? It wouldn’t make such a mess of your yard.
I like the design. Putting teeth on the bucket gives you that useful sawing action. Probably useless here where the ground is rocky, but I can see how it works in real soil. That last stump was a big one for sure.
Anyone who has a Stump Removal Business. A large excavator, or stump grinder is what you would have to use on large stumps. The stump grinder is a lot more expensive. This attachment can easily pay for itself after a couple of jobs, then keep making you money even after you have had to replace your skid steer.
Who’s got money for this.
